Warranty Information

Our fountain pens come with a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during the normal use of the pen. The warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect or modification of the pen or nib, including and not limited to splayed tines, poor pen hygiene, dismantling of the pen or nib, or fitting of the nib on other pens.

To ensure that the pens and nibs function properly, we perform a series of checks and adjustments, as well as dip-testing and washing, prior to shipment. If you prefer that we skip this process, please notify us via email after placing your order. However, please note that items that have not undergone testing are not covered by the warranty.

If you believe your fountain pen has a manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately. We will evaluate the issue and, if it is determined to be covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the pen free of charge. Please note that the warranty does not cover shipping costs associated with sending of replacement parts or sending/returning the pen for evaluation or repair.

This warranty is valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Please contact us with your Order Number and Name for us to verify your purchase.

All sales are final. Due to the specialised nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.

Shipping

All products sold at BlueDew Pens will be shipped from Singapore with tracking number via DHL (International) and SingPost (Singapore, and International if DHL cannot support).

Shipping cost is:-

  • Free for Singapore; and

  • USD15 to 25 for the rest of the world, based on region.

If we are unable to ship to your location, a full refund will be given.

The Buyer is responsible for custom duties, taxes, tariffs and other fees payable in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Buyer’s country.

The Buyer is responsible for making necessary arrangements with his/her local postal service on last leg delivery or special requests, including and not limited to, payment of duties, taxes or fees, change of delivery address or delivery during specific time windows.

In the event that a shipment is refused delivery by the recipient, is undeliverable, or is returned to sender, BlueDew Pens will process a refund less shipping fees to the original payment method used. Customers will also be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20 percent of the product cost for failed deliveries or cancelled/returned orders.

Typical delivery times range from 2 to 4 working days for DHL International, 10 to 21 working days for SingPost (International), and 2 to 3 working days in Singapore. Orders are prepared and fulfilled on Mondays and Fridays.
