Stainless Steel Nib for Writer, Crystal and Essential Series
Our stainless steel #6-sized nib features a vintage-inspired heart-shaped breather hole. The housing is designed to fit the Writer, Crystal and Essential Series, and the nib can also be transferred and fitted onto most #6-sized fountain pens.
We offer custom grinds tailored to your preferences, aimed at delivering well-defined line variation with a hint of feedback for better control. Taking inspiration from katana blade sharpening and zaratsu polishing techniques in watchmaking, the horizontal fine lines can be made to be as fine as ~0.1mm while being smooth enough as a daily driver. This is in contrast to the industry norm to avoid Italic Fines as the horizontal fine lines are not fine enough to get 4:1 contrast.
Obliques can be done on request. If you write at a particular high or low angle, do let me know too.
Italic fine writes ~0.5mm vertical lines.
Italic medium writes ~0.7mm vertical lines.
Italic broad writes ~1.0mm vertical lines.
Architect nib writes ~1.0mm horizontal lines.
