The nib comes without nib tipping material. It was intended to be like this for finer lines. It does not wear out quickly like dip nibs do, and is durable for months and years of flex writing.
Our nib units are designed for use with BlueDew fountain pens and are not compatible with other fountain pens. Installation into non-BlueDew pens is considered user modification and is performed entirely at the buyer’s risk.
